NDSP Welcomes Consul-General of Japan to Casselton Facility

North Dakota Soybean Processors (NDSP) recently welcomed Masashi Mizobuchi, Consul-General of Japan, to its Casselton facility.

The visit highlighted NDSP’s ties to global markets as well as Japanese investment in the US. NDSP’s Bill McBee presented the products produced, thanks to the NDSP team and local soybean farmers. These include soybean oil for food, renewable fuels, and industrial applications; soybean meal for livestock feed; and soyhull pellets for feedstock.

Snowfall (and 33 degrees!) made the visit even more memorable as NDSP shared its operations through a driving tour. The group discussed the importance of farmers and U.S. soybean processors’ impact on domestic and international food, feed, and fuel supply.

The visit concluded with Consul-General Mizobuchi sharing insights and reaffirming his commitment to strengthening opportunities in global markets. NDSP extends its appreciation to Representative Brandy Pyle, Casselton Economic Development Director Adrienne Olson, North Dakota Trade Office Deputy Director Lindsey Warner, and Avery Hansen from the North Dakota Soybean Council for joining NDSP’s continued efforts to collectively advance North Dakota’s soybean industry.
